No, because not everyone wishes to share the files they upload with everyone else. This way Toucan Sharing can be used to share files with anyone you choose to, as well as keep it for yourself as a backup or to download from anywhere in the world.
What kind of files can be uploaded?
All kinds: from your party photos to an important document.
The only restrictions are for copyrighted material. Please refer to our TOS for more info on Toucan Sharing terms of service.
How to delete a file I uploaded?
To delete a file you uploaded you must use Delete Link that was provided to you after the upload proccess.
If you lost your removal code you can simply wait until the file expires so it will be automatically removed from our site.
Can I hotlink the stuff I upload?
No. Hotlinking is not allowed on any kind of files uploaded to our servers.
For how long are files stored?
As an anonymous user your files will be deleted in 30 days from the last download. If you have registered and account with us, files that have not been accessed for 60 days are deleted and if you are premium, your files are not deleted for innactivity.
What are limitations on downloads?
There are three types of download restrictions, which have been put in place to ensure our premium members get the best service.
Wait time between downloads - Free users wait 15 mins, Registered 10mins and Premium members dont need to wait
Download volumes - Free user can download 5 Gig in 3 days, Registered 8 Gig in 3 days, and Premium users have no limits
Download timers - We make the Free user wait 30 Seconds for a download link, the Registerd user 15 seconds
What is your refund Policy?
Toucan Sharing is not a company that likes unhappy customers.
If you have a legitament reason for wanting your money back, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will refund your money. If you have purchased a multi month account and have used it for some time, we will prorata your refund for the lenght of time you havent used your account. Please understand there is a substantial amount of fraud involved in this business and if we do not refund your transaction for any reason, you can file a complaint with the payment processor and we will work with them on the complaint.
